Yes! It's designed for Australia's hot summers. It can be used in light winds and rain, but as in all umbrellas....don't use in windy conditions. Dry before storage.

It's super simple—select desired attachment and push firmly into the soil. The 3 pronged attachment may require pushing with a foot if the soil is dry or root congested.

Whilst it is made for outdoors, some people use it to protect plants in a conservatory or sunroom.
